Here is Gia & Adam’s story as told by Gia herself!
How We Met: We lived in the same complex and met doing gummy worm jello shots together.
Funny Story: In 2013, we hiked Rim to Rim. At the end of the hike it was cold, dark and all I wanted was a big juicy burger. We had 5 miles left, all climbing. I was going super slow and wanted to give up. Adam then turned and asked me, “do you want me to carry your pack for you?” He knew that was all it would take to get my ass moving. We successfully finished…and I carried my own pack the entire way!
Favorite Things We Do: Scuba diving, obstacle course runs, hiking and CrossFit.
Unique Thing About Us: We try to visit a National Park every year and do some awesome hikes. We have done Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Joshua Tree and Zion. Someday we would like to take a sabbatical and hike the Pacific Crest Trail or the Appalachian Trail.
